umm ... I just finished a rather stressful week. now I feel a bit lost. like I don't quite know what to do with my free time today....

I went to London on Friday ... to the embassy of japan ... to see our work on the wall.

it was a good day. I really enjoyed meeting up with friends for coffee before heading over there. it was a great way to keep calm and catch up. ugh .. sorry I was only really spewing nonsense occasionally with my head in my note book tho ... I found the inking really was making me concentrate on the conversations people where having(rather than letting myself get nervous)

umm I'd babel about it all here ... but I think anyone interested is my live journal friend and has heard this all already. and theres photos and stuff on there. if you are interested ... I guess I'll just re-direct you.

Everyone was really excited about leek and sushi ... but the snow didn't want us to get any. :(

when I was in london ... I picked up 3 AWESOME comic books from gosh. I've read them already. scott pilgrim 5 is particularly shiny .... umm I don't want to gibber about it too much ... cause I know some people wont be able to get hold of a copy for a while still. I know if I'd not been going to london I wouldn't be getting a copy until well after the 18th February because amazon would be my only option and my post system here is crap.

so ... yeh ... I guess I better go do something productive.

awh, that sucks soo much. I've had to buy a lot of my graphic novels through the internet because I have such weird tastes. >.<;;;;

at leased with scott pilgrim 5 ... I would've found it in birmingham eventually.

Yeah, we used to buy tons from Amazon since the American dollar ended up being cheaper than the same merchandise in our country :/ In fact, even with the economy most items are still cheaper from America.

Awww, it's a shame Leek and Sushi didn't get to you guys... we missed it at the meet too (poor Wilie!) I'm glad the embassy was good, the pics of your day were really nice ^^! I'm looking forward to reading yours and Laura's comic in leek and sushi!! *excited*

thats awesome! I hope it really encourages people to put on more stuff like that. if it was successful thats usually how things work here anyway. one of the big book fairs was canceled last year so people put on other ( I heard they where better XD) events. theres becoming a lot to choose from.

yeh, It was such ashame! and some people at the embassy seemed like "uggh ... what snow? been no snow today"

I was hoping to go to that meet on the saturday too ... but when the date was announced I'd JUST booked my train tickets to return home friday. it looks like you all had fun too tho.
